Since the early times, humans have always looked to the stars to find answers to their problems. Space is a source of continuous fascination and a source of mystery to humans. This is because of the fact that we actually know little about the space. And this also makes it both captivating and terrifying to people. A lot of people believe that we can get the answers about the origin of the world in space, many astronomers for example have used calculus to study space and the motions of planets, meteorites in pursuit of answers. Just like the famous scientist, Steven Hawking said, sending humans to the moon changed the future of human race in ways that we do not yet understand. And although it has not provided solutions to our present problems on Earth, it has provided us with a new perspective of things and allowed us to look both inward and outward. I believe that space may be the long term future for the human race because it represents essential life insurance for our survival in the future. This is because; it might be able to prevent the disappearance of the human race by colonizing other planets.
Only a few historical moments are as iconic as the first moon landing. This moment is the moment when a human stepped foot in another world and it represents that beginning of another phase of human achievement.

However, space exploration has also played a crucial role in catalyzing scientific discovery. For a better explanation, we can quote the Neil deGrasse Tyson, the world-renowned astrophysicist who said that” Space exploration is a force of nature unto itself that no other force in society can rival. Not only does that get people interested in sciences and all the related fields, but it transforms the culture into one that values science and technology, and that's the culture that innovates. And in the 21st century, innovations in science and technology are the foundations of tomorrow's economy”. He also revealed that he believed that research on Mars and its climate might help us better understand our own and help us in the fight against climate change.

According to Neil deGrasse Tyson, an example to show that Space exploration is a force of nature is when you go into a classroom and ask some students in eight grades “who want to be an aerospace engineer so you can design an airplane 20 percent more fuel-efficient than the one your parents flew?” you might not get the reply you are looking for but when you ask “Who wants to be an aerospace engineer to design the airplane that will navigate the rarefied atmosphere of Mars?” you will start seeing the best students in the class saying that they want to look for life on Mars (aspiring Biologists), they want to study rocks on Mars (aspiring Geologists) and they want to design the next spacecraft that will travel at hyper speed and take humans to Mars and other planets (aspiring Aerospace Engineers).
